Niki Matita is a radio artist, radio activist and DJ from Berlin.

The track Haze’s Garden Radio is a bridge between the past and the present, between The International Garden Radio Listening Clubs that were an offspring I initiated during Datscha Radio 17 and a very old pet project of mine, the Artist Collective and fictional Art Detective by the same name, Ramon Haze who resided in a green backyard factory in Leipzig. I am revisiting all sorts of material from that time, because there will be a huge retrospective at Museum Abteiberg in Mönchengladbach in November. When I found this old tape recording of our kitchen and the office noises back in the days, where we also listened to the radio a lot, I was wondering who could send a message through space and time…
