The track is an excerpt from a radio show produced by Erika Preisel at FRS in Austria. Erika had recorded a long interview with Claudia Wegener/ radio continental drift on the occasion of her visiting Zongwe FM’s long standing partners in Austria in early 2018.
Asked by Erika about language and communication for her as a white foreigner, Claudia describes a bit the local scenario for her as a Mukuwa, a white English-speaking alien walking around in rural Sinazongwe. She mentions the amusing fact for people in Sinazongwe, that Mukuwa was speaking a bit of the local language ChiTonga but with a noticeable Zimbabwe accent. A track from by DJ Kwe follows in which Janet Mwiinde celebrates Tonga culture with a traditional song. The show features several tracks of DJ Kwe’s Album “Radio Remixes Voices of Binga”.
